Hasan Mahmood Naqvi

Hasan brings over two decades of experience across Pakistan, Africa and the Middle East specializing in the mineral value chain, circular economy, and techno-economic feasibility of mining projects. His career includes working with Ivanhoe, Zijin, and China Nerin at DRC, where he contributed to advancing exploration into feasibility and off-take agreements. He holds various credentials as an international commercial viability consultant mainly in mineral projects with high demand for his expertise in the Middle-East.

He has also led cross-border mineral trade and logistics, including exports of iron ore and lead-zinc to China, coal supply chains for Pakistan’s power & cement sector, and beneficiation projects involving Afghanistan-origin minerals with Chinese counterparts. With proven success in JV structuring, strategic alliances, and supply chain optimization, Hasan positions NRL as a company uniquely capable of bridging global mining standards with local opportunities. His foreign exposure strengthens NRL’s ability to attract investment, transfer technology, and deliver value across the entire mineral lifecycle.
